Current Status

Server and software installations are being completed in the Project Center at Istanbul Kultur University, Atakoy Campus.

In addition to the initial four stations "ISTN" , "SLEE" , TEKR" , "KIRL",

the following stations have also begun gathering data:

Contract Follow-up

Out of 145 stations, the pilye construction (24 of which are foundations) has been completed for 129 stations. As of 22 April 2008, all hardware and software acquired for the project has cleared customs and have been relocated to the main storage facility of IKU Atakoy campus. Protocols have been completed with the related parties for the pilye construction at the station points. Required ADSL subscriptions have been signed with  Turk Telekom. The installation of the ADSL lines to the CORS-TR locations by Turk Telekom personel is nearly complete. The GPRS and EDGE communication protocol has been finalized with Turkcell. The SIM cards to be used by the system have been delivered by Turkcell.
